Whoa! I haven't posted a proper blog on here in a while! Currently I'm super busy with The Artisans' Gift Fair this Saturday.
So why am I posting when I should be working? Because I'm mad as hell and need to vent before I stab someone...ok, I'm not really that mad, just annoyed.
I recently purchased a pack of 100 printable notecards from Staples. The brand is Gartner Studios. When I open the package the first page of cards is damaged. The company's label somehow leaked through on to the sheet rendering it unusable. So I email customer service to let them know about the problem. All I get back is "Thanks for your input. The package was either not rotated or was stored incorrectly." Like it was my fault! Well, fortunately, I only lost one page. But still, whatever happened to companies offering compensation? I would have been happy with a coupon. A whole new package would've been awesome (if improbable). At the very least they should send me a check for $0.35, the cost of the two cards. Or $8 which is the very least I would have been able to sell them for. Freakin' pain in the ars.
Blah. All better.
Oh. Yeah. And I opened a new shop. Go. Look. It'll be fun. I promise:

Voooodoooo...running from my magic!
Sooooo...I have listed new stuff in my Etsy:
Aren't they adorable??? They're pins so you can take their evil little selves with you where ever you go!
I've also made voodoo cards:
There were two of these cards at Plastik Wrap, but both were sold. I'll be making more soon though! The adorable little voodoo doll stamp on the card front and the envelope label I found at Sideshow Stamps. If you want to read how much I love this company (and how cool their stuff is) check out my previous blog here.
Being we're on the subject of recent works, I'll post some more goodies. These are all available at the Plastik Wrap boutique at 2235 Dundas West in Toronto:
And there are several more, but you'll have to go into the store to see them in person. Unfortunately my picture-taking skills are sub par... but I'm just going to blame it on the fancy-shmancy camera we have.
Alright...I promise that I'll bore you with just one more thing...this doll was made for a dear friend of mine. It measure 9.5 inches tall and has interchangeable bow pins (and of course a bejeweled stabby pin).
Well, I think that's sufficient for now. I swear I'm going to try to be a little more timely with this blog. Really. I promise...

Bad Artist! Bad!
Let me just get this out of my system:
These are the last few days to purchase my Anti-Valentine cards at Kaotic Ekko's Curiosities!!!! Go. Spend. Money. Now. Please.
Ahem. Ok. Now. I am a bad bad bad girl. I have been lax in my artistic adventures. I've been having trouble getting going. I have lots of ideas and sketches but for some reason I'm afraid to start on them. I have this phobia of wasting supplies. I have an idea for a painting, but I'm afraid to start on it because if it doesn't work out I will have wasted a canvas. Not like that's a big deal...I have canvas coming out my ears (figuratively...not literally...c'mon people, stop being silly) because I always stock up when it's on sale. I don't understand this bizarre fear. But I have resolved to knuckle down and work tomorrow. It will be Art Sunday. Promise. *crosses fingers over heart* That means hopefully I will have some new eye candy posted soon. :)
And I just want to quickly mention this AMAZING artist I came across: Phil Hansen. Here's a video of one of his pieces. When you're done watching, go to his site and genuflect in awe...
